Are you worried that you're missing God's will or you'll never figure it out? Don't worry! If your heart is to do God's will, He wants to show it to you more badly than you want to be shown. God doesn't want us to walk around not knowing His will or not knowing our purpose in life. In John 13, Jesus told His disciples that a servant does not know what his master is doing, but friends do. Jesus continued saying they were His friends. Knowing God's will was a part of something Jesus wanted his friends to take part in.
When we become believers, we become friends of God. And just like Jesus and the Disciples, we are God's friends who He was to reveal His will for us. He wants us knowing God's will for our lives. God's heart is that we know His will. He wants us ...>> full...

Most all of us have experienced some type of loss. A lost friendship. A bitter painful breakup. Someone whom we love, but who doesn’t love us. A loved one who has died. Someone who walked away from us. A violation, a betrayal, a rejection. We all have something that has caused us pain, grief, sadness, shame, resentment, anger, guilt and bitterness. A broken heart can result in a hardened heart - difficulty loving. A broken heart can result in bitterness - the intention to get revenge. A broken heart can bring on health problems - emotion express in our body. A broken heart can bring on heart problems - emotion effecting our heart health.

We are helpless to save ourselves and so we need a Savior.
So here’s the question: Are you ready to face this reality and turn to the One who alone can rescue you? Are you willing to put your life in His hands and trust what He has done on your behalf? Are ...>> full...

Like David, most all of us have experienced constant stress. For much of his younger adulthood, David was pursued by Saul who sought to kill him. He became the king of a nation that endured wars, giants, national problems, famine, to name a few. His family problems were horrendous. Sibling rivalry looked petty compared to the soap opera of David's family. This guy was a potential psychiatric patient. Stress can break even the sturdiest of hearts. David had an antidote—a trust in a living God. This was the controlling factor in his life.
David composed a song that began, "The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my mountain where I seek refuge. My shield, the horn of my salvation, my stronghold, my refuge, and my Savior, You save me from violence. I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I was saved ... >> full...
